Chena Hot Springs in Alaska has a history of over 100 years.Main street of downtown Chena had railways passing straight through it.Once located on the shores of the Tanana River, Chena became a ghost town.The lost mining town of Chena has been put back on modern maps.

The Tanana Valley Railroad, which would later be bought by the modern Alaska Railroad, had its rails cutting straight through main street in downtown Chena.
