Drills tap high-grade silver at Dolly Varden

Dolly Varden Silver Corp. Aug. 9 reported high-grade silver results from drilling at the Torbit deposit at its namesake property n the Golden Triangle of northwestern British Columbia.
Hole DV17-040 cut 12.55 meters, 9.89 meters true thickness, averaging 514.3 grams per metric ton silver in the Lower zone of Torbit.
DV17-042, also drilled into the Lower zone, cut 11.70 meters, 8.27 meters true thickness, averaging 204.3 g/t silver.
These holes were drilled on the southeastern edge of Torbit and fill a gap in the drilling.
Dolly Varden said the deposit remains open to the southeast.
Hole DV17-043, drilled on the northwest edge of the Torbit, cut 5.65 meters, 4 meters true thickness, averaging 96.8 g/t silver in the Upper zone.
This hole was drilled about 80 meters beyond DV17-039, a hole that cut 11.2 meters, 9.98 meters true thickness, averaging 97.6 g/t silver.
Dolly Varden plans to complete 5,000 meters of drilling at its namesake project this year.
There are more than 50 exploration targets on the property.
Geological mapping, plus geophysical and geochemical surveys are underway at the Dolly Varden silver-zinc-lead property and the adjacent Big Bulk copper-gold project.
