Wheaton advances Kutcho feasibility funds

Kutcho Copper Corp.

The Kutcho Copper mine project in northwestern British Columbia hosts a high-grades volcanogenic massive sulfide system with 10.4 million metric tons of proven and probable reserves averaging 2.01 percent copper, 3.19 percent zinc, 34.61 grams per metric ton silver and 0.37 g/t gold.

Kutcho Copper Corp. April 4 said it has received a US$3.5 million advanced payment from Wheaton Precious Metals Corp., the first payment of US$7 million under an August 2017 precious metals purchase agreement between Kutcho and Wheaton.

Under this agreement Wheaton will pay Kutcho US$65 million for up to 100 percent of the payable silver and gold production from the Kutcho copper-zinc-silver-go...
