Aben Resources Ltd. Sept. 18 reports that drilling continues to expand the North Boundary gold-silver-copper zone on the Forrest Kerr project in British Columbia's Golden Triangle.

The latest batch of assay results are from five holes drilled outboard of the main mineralized core at North Boundary.

One hole drilled by Aben last year, FK18-10, cut 10 meters of 38.7 grams per metric ton (1.12 ounces per metric ton) gold from a depth of 114 meters, including one meter of 331 g/t (9.65 oz/t) gold.

This is very similar to the one meter of 326 g/t gold Noranda encountered in RG91-16, a historical hole drilled roughly 200 meters to the south.

FK19-52 – a hole drilled this year about 100 meters below and 50 meters south of the high-grade gold encountered by Noranda – cut 16 meters averaging 2.22 grams per metric ton gold, 2.39 g/t silver and 0.31 percent copper.

Hole FK19-53 – drilled from the same pad as FK19-52 but southwest instead of northwest – cut multiple zones of anomalous gold. The most coherent zone was 18 meters of 1.24 g/t gold, 2.47 g/t silver and 0.35 percent copper starting at a depth of 346 meters.

Aben said this zone occurs west of the Nelson Creek fault, which previously lacked evidence of precious and base metal mineralization.

Hole FK19-54 – drilled in the same direction as FK19-53 but at a steeper angle – also intersected several intervals of modest mineralization. This includes 12 meters of 1.05 g/t gold, 1.71 g/t silver and 0.21 percent copper from a depth of 203 meters.

Holes 53 and 54 were drilled roughly 450 meters south of the main high-grade gold discoveries at North Boundary.

Holes FK19-47and FK19-49 also cut modest gold mineralization to the east and northwest of the core of the North Boundary zone.

Aben said base and precious metal mineralization at North Boundary has now been defined over a 600- by 250-meter area.

The company has completed more than 8,000 meters of drilling this year in 21 holes and expects to complete the planned 10,000-meter drill program by the end of September.
