High-grade gold extends veins at Herbert

Visible gold in core from drilling into the Goat vein on Grande Portage's Herbert Gold project north of Juneau, Alaska.

Grande Portage Resources Ltd. Oct. 1 reported that it cut 52.34 grams per metric ton gold across 2.71 meters about 170 meters east of any other drilling into the Goat vein on the company's Herbert Gold project in Southeast Alaska.

Located about 16 miles north of Juneau, Herbert Gold hosts 1.88 million metric tons of indicated resource averaging 10.03 grams per metric ton (605,000 ounces) of go...
