A bag of rare earth carbonate produced from Vital Metals' Nechalacho Lake project in Northwest Territories ready to be shipped to REEtec in Norway for separation into REE oxides.
Racing to become Canada's first miner of rare earth elements, Vital Metals Ltd. had clocked another milestone by producing a 12-kilogram sample of rare earth carbonate in a bulk sampling program at its Nechalacho rare earths project located 100 kilometers (62 miles) southeast of Yellowknife, the capital of Northwest Territories.
