Gold Terra Resource Corp. Aug. 3 released the final assay results from the 15-hole winter drill program designed to test the Campbell Shear along strike south of the historic Con gold mine in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.

With the 200-meter-spaced holes drilled to depths of approximately 1,000 meters, the winter drilling at Campbell Shear, an area south from the Con Mine to the high-grade Yellorex Main zone, includes two holes at Y-88 Zone, six in the Campbell-Con Shear area, two in Y88 Zone, one at Yellorex North, and six at Yellorex Main.

Highlights from this drilling include:

• 4.55 meters averaging 3.61 grams per metric ton gold from a depth of 37 meters in hole GTCM22-029 (Campbell-Con Shear).

• 14.57 meters averaging 1.6 g/t gold from a depth of 1,255 meters in hole in hole GTCM22-037 (Y-88 Zone).

• Six meters averaging 3.31 g/t gold from a depth of 306 meters in hole GTCM22-039 (Yellorex North).

• Five meters averaging 2.18 g/t gold from a depth of 324 meters in hole GTCM22-039 (Yellorex North).

• Eight meters averaging 11 g/t gold from a depth of 295 meters in hole GTCM22-040 (Yellorex Main.

Gold Terra says its summer drill program on the Campbell Shear, which got underway in mid-July, is following up on the positive results from the winter drilling.

This includes testing the Y-88 Zone with 50-meter spaced wedges drilled from hole GTCM22-037, which intersected strong alteration and gold mineralization indicative of proximity to high-grade lodes. These planned wedges, which are used to angle off an existing hole at depth, are designed to test both strike and dip extensions of the lodes encountered in GTCM22-037.

"The 2022 winter drilling program results along the southern extension of the Campbell Shear shows multiple mineralized zones which demonstrate great potential for additional ounces on the Con Option Property," said Gold Terra Resource Chairman and CEO Gerald Panneton. "We have now completed 22,491 meters of drilling on the Campbell Shear since September 2020 and as we are working on a mineral resource update for early Q4 2022, the Campbell Shear remains our focus and the best target on our properties."
