Connected to transportation infrastructure in southwestern Yukon, Nickel Shaw is ideally situated to deliver nickel, copper, cobalt, and platinum group metals to global markets.

Nickel Creek Platinum Corp. April 11 announced the latest results from its 2022 drilling and geophysics program at the Arch target on the company's Nickel Shaw project, which successfully extended mineralization at depth and along strike at this Yukon nickel-copper project.

According to a 2018 resource estimate, Nickel Shaw hosts 323.4 million metric tons of measured and indicated resource averaging 0.26% (1.9 billion pounds) nickel, 0.16% (1.1 billion lb) copper, 0.015% (107 million lb) cobalt, 0.25 grams per metric ton (2.6 million ounces) platinum, 0.26 g/t (2.6 million oz) palladium, and 0.046 g/t (480,000 oz) gold; plus 108.1 million metric tons of inferred resource averaging 0.29% (691 million lb) nickel, 0.15% (357 million lb) copper, 0.016% (38 million lb) cobalt, 0.26 g/t (890,000 oz) platinum, 0.28 g/t (970,000 oz) palladium, and 0.04 g/t (139,000 oz) gold.

Accessible from the paved Alaska Highway about 317 kilometers (197 miles) northwest of Whitehorse, the capital of Canada's Yukon, Nickel Shaw has ready access to year-round, deep sea ports in Haines and Skagway, Alaska.

The property lies within the traditional lands of the Kluane First Nation central region.

Nickel Creek completed 2,975 meters of drilling during its 2022 program, of which 10 holes totaling 1,265 meters tested the Arch target. Nickel Creek reports that drilling at Arch was successful in extending massive to disseminated nickel-copper sulfide mineralization at depth and along strike from holes drilled in 2021.

"We have demonstrated the continuity of sulphide mineralization at the Arch target including its significant nickel, copper, precious metals and sulphur grades," said Nickel Creek Platinum President and CEO Stuart Harshaw. "This target occurs at shallow depths and is currently being assessed to determine if a maiden inferred resource can be outlined here."

Drilling in 2021 at the Arch target intersected significant massive to semi-massive sulfide in six holes. Grades up to 3.85% nickel, 1.37% copper, and 3.97 g/t total precious metals (platinum, palladium, and gold) over 3.45 meters were returned.

Highlights from the recent drilling revealed similar grades; some of these include:

0.6 meters averaging 3.47% nickel, 2.02% copper, 0.13% cobalt, 0.98 g/t platinum, 2.02 g/t palladium, and 0.28 g/t gold from a depth of 71.3 meters in hole ASD22-013.

0.7 meters averaging 1.25% nickel, 2.98% copper, 0.05% cobalt, 0.87 g/t platinum, 1.68 g/t palladium, 0.08 g/t gold from 66.5 meters in ASD22-015.

3.84 meters averaging 2.57% nickel, 1.61% copper, 0.11% cobalt, 0.81 g/t platinum, 1.44 g/t palladium, and 0.1 g/t gold from 169.5 meters in ASD22-016.

0.2 meters averaging 2.66% nickel, 0.74% copper, 0.07% cobalt, 0.6 g/t platinum, 1.6 g/t palladium, and 0.03 g/t gold from 92.5 meters in ASD22-017.

1.2 meters averaging 2.09% nickel, 0.99% copper, 0.08% cobalt, 1.61 g/t platinum, 1.68 g/t palladium, and 0.06 g/t gold from 29.5 meters in ASD22-018.

Nickel Creek says all intervals listed are downhole core lengths and not true widths. Furthermore, all intervals had varying degrees of notable levels of sulfur.

"The PFS will not include the Arch target when produced in Q3 this year but we are excited by the opportunity for additional higher-grade mineralization at our Nickel Shaw property," said Harshaw.
