Anchorage facility to support Terra

WestMountain Gold Inc. Jan. 28 said it has begun operations at a new testing and processing facility in Anchorage.

In addition to housing recovery and metallurgical testing equipment, this facility will serve as a staging area for the company's Terra gold project, located about 140 air miles to the northwest.

WestMountain said it will use the facility in the coming months to process concentrate from last year's field season, providing some additional near-term cash flow.

The Terra project hosts an indicated resource of 428,000 metric tons averaging 12.2 grams per metric ton (168,000 ounces) gold and 23.1 g/t (318,000 ounces) silver.

During 2014, WestMountain produced some 1,350 ounces gold bullion from about 500 short tons of ore processed through its pilot mill at Terra.
