American Creek explores high-grade Electrum

American Creek Resources Ltd. said it has begun a fall exploration program of mapping, sampling and drilling at its Electrum gold-silver property in Northwest British Columbia.

The Electrum property encompasses the historical East Gold Mine, a hand-mining operation that produced extremely high grades of gold, silver and electrum.

American Creek said the exploration at Pretium Resources' Valley of the Kings deposit located some 20 kilometers (13 miles) north of Electrum has opened up new insights into these types of high-grade transitional epithermal gold-silver occurrences.

The fall exploration program is focused in an area of high-grade gold and silver vein outcrops previously identified by American Creek.

The objective for this work is to gain a better understanding of the geological structure and to lay the baseline for future work on the property.
