A rig set up on the Extension zone, where this year's drilling returned one 3.2-meter intercept averaging 40.24 percent zinc, 7.43 percent lead and 207.5 g/t silver.

Cantex Mine Development Corp. Nov. 20 provided updated assay results for samples from this summer's drilling at the aptly named Massive Sulphide zone on its North Rackla property that topped 30 percent zinc and 20 percent lead.

The 14 zinc samples that exceeded the 30 percent limit for the assay methods previously used contained between 35.47 and 51.14 percent zinc. The nine over-limit lead samples contained between 20.94 and 39.63 percent lead.

Hole YKDD18-012 cut two mineralized intervals with one having an estimated true-width of 9.19 meters averaging 18.04 percent zinc, 8.09 percent lead and 150.6 grams per metric ton silver. A 3.54-meter section of this longer interval averaged 35.36 percent zinc, 14.01 percent lead and 277.8 g/t silver.

YKDD18-013 cut three mineralized intervals. The most significant has an estimated true-width of 7.1 meters averaging 23.23 percent zinc, 6.04 percent lead and 158 g/t silver. A 3.24-meter section of this interval averaged 40.24 percent zinc, 7.43 percent lead and 207.5 g/t silver.

YKDD18-014 cut two mineralized intervals including one with an estimated true-width of 9.3 meters averaging 10.97 percent zinc, 7.33 percent lead and 122.6 g/t silver. Within this were two higher grade 0.85-meter zones averaging 37.65 percent zinc, 6.93 percent lead and 158 g/t silver; and 13.73 percent zinc, 24.49 percent lead and 475.5 g/t silver.

YKDD18-015 cut 5.21 meters averaging 10.48 percent zinc, 5.48 percent lead and 67.2 g/t silver.

YKDD18-016 contained two mineralized intervals one meter apart. The most significant was 4.46 meters averaging 18.36 percent zinc, 11.44 percent lead and 142.1 g/t silver.

These five holes were drilled in Extension zone, which is a section of Massive Sulphide zone. Drilling completed by Cantex in 2016 encountered zinc-lead-copper-silver-manganese mineralization in heavily weathered rock near the surface.

This drilling tested the main mineralization at the Extension zone along 56 meters of strike and to a depth of 190 meters.

Cantex Mine Development said its sampling and mapping has traced the Extension zone for about 3,000 meters along strike.

The North Rackla property is located about 20 kilometers (12.5 miles) north of ATAC Resources Ltd.'s Rackla Gold property in the Yukon.
