White Gold makes Titan gold discovery

North of 60 Mining News – October 25, 2019

White Gold Corp. Oct. 24 reported that its regional exploration has encountered very high-grade gold in rock samples collected at Titan, a discovery on the Hen property and less than 15 kilometers (nine miles) northwest of the Vertigo discovery on the neighboring JP Ross property in Yukon's White Gold District.

Titan was first identified with soil sampling by White Gold, including one sample that returned 113 grams per metric ton gold, the highest-grade of more than 400,000 soil samples the company has collected so far.

Rock samples collected from the area have returned some equally impressive number, including samples that contained 605 g/t (19.5 ounces per ton), 497 g/t (16 oz/t), 113 g/t (3.6 oz/t) and 78.3(2.5 oz/t) g/t gold.

White Gold said these results demonstrate an extension of the regional scale high-grade gold system encountered across the adjacent JP Ross property, including Vertigo and other recently discovered targets along the Vertigo trend.

"Rock grab samples and other surface exploration identified the presence of visible gold, further highlighting the Titan as a very exciting target for further exploration activity," said White Gold Chief Technical Officer Shawn Ryan. "These significant results combined with Titan being located less than 15 kilometers west of the Vertigo, provides further evidence of the possible regional-scale gold system in the placer-rich Henderson Creek region."

Follow up activities at Titan have included infill soils, ground geophysical surveys, mapping, GT Probe sampling and rotary air blast (RAB) drilling,

The GT Probe sampling, which collects a sample at the top of bedrock, has returned grades as high as 17.35 g/t gold.

Additional results from the 2019 regional exploration work at Titan are pending.

"These positive results from our early stage exploration work on the Titan are very encouraging and display the continued proliferation of high-grade gold mineralization across our vast portfolio of properties," said Ryan.

The discovery exploration at Titan is part of a C$13 million 2019 exploration program backed by partners Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd. and Kinross Gold Corp.

This year's program also includes drilling at the Vertigo target on the JP Ross property; drilling at the Golden Saddle and Arc deposits on the White Gold property; and soil sampling, prospecting, GT Probe, trenching, and RAB and reverse circulation drilling on various other properties across the company's expansive land package in the White Gold District.

"Our model has always been to generate a pipeline of gold targets so that as we advance our mature stage assets, we have new discoveries to bring up the development ladder," Ryan added.
