Drilling commences at White Gold property

Test 3 target areas, Ryan's Surprise, Ulli's Ridge, and Betty North of 60 Mining News – June 17, 2022

White Gold Corp. June 13 announced the start of its 2022 diamond drill program targeting both Ryan's Surprise and Ulli's Ridge on the company's expansive and underexplored over 1-million-acre (422,730 hectares) land package in the emerging White Gold District in Yukon, Canada.

Much of this year's program will further evaluate targets on the White Gold and Betty Ford properties to follow up on encouraging results encountered during the 2021 exploration, as well as to perform maiden drill testing on several other targets.

"We are excited to kick off our eagerly anticipated 2022 exploration program with the commencement of diamond drilling at the Ryan's Surprise and Ulli's Ridge targets," said White Gold CEO David D'Onofrio. "In 2021, maiden diamond drilling at Ulli's discovered a significant new high-grade gold zone that we are keen to follow up on. The Ryan's trend has demonstrated significant potential to increase the company's substantial resource base in the prolific and underexplored White Gold District."

Ryan's Surprise and Ulli's Ridge occur in the southern part of a 6,500-meter-long north-northwest gold-arsenic geochemical trend (Ryan's trend) and are located approximately 2,000 meters west of the company's flagship Golden Saddle and Arc deposits.

Combined, the Golden Saddle and Arc deposits host 15.6 million metric tons of indicated resource averaging 2.28 grams per metric ton (1.14 million ounces) gold and 9 million metric tons of inferred resource averaging 1.39 g/t (402,100 oz) gold.

Highlights from previous drilling at Ryan's Surprise include:

6.1 meters of 20.67 g/t gold from a hole drilled in 2018.

3.47 meters averaging 17.4 g/t gold in a hole drilled in 2020.

3.76 meters averaging 10.96 g/t gold in a hole drilled in 2020.

12.3 meters averaging 8.69 g/t gold in a hole drilled in 2020.

5.5 meters averaging 1.66 g/t gold in a hole drilled in 2021.

White Gold first tested Ulli's Ridge with rotary air blast drilling carried out early in the 2021 season. Highlights from this RAB drilling include:

21.3 meters averaging 1.35 g/t gold in hole WHTULR21RAB005.

6.1 meters averaging 4.67 g/t gold in hole WHTULR21RAB006.

9.1 meters averaging 2.26 g/t gold in hole WHTULR21RAB009.

Encouraged by this success, the company followed up with seven diamond drill holes, all of which cut significant gold mineralization.

Highlights Include:

5.13 meters averaging 2.04 g/t gold in hole WHTULR21D001.

Eight meters averaging 1.03 g/t gold and 4.1 meters averaging 2.44 g/t gold in hole WHTULR21D002.

4.49 meters averaging 1.91 g/t gold in hole WHTULR21D003.

19.5 meters averaging 6.94 g/t gold in hole WHTULR21D004.

18.5 meters averaging 1.36 g/t gold in hole WHTULR11D005.

This year's diamond drilling at Ryan's Surprise and Ulli's Ridge is slated to be carried out in two phases, with the initial phase targeting the high-grade gold zone at Ulli's and the gap area between both targets.

The drill rig will then be moved south to the company's Betty property to complete the planned diamond drill program at the Betty Ford and Mascot targets before returning later in the season to complete the second phase of infill drilling at Ryan's.

"The initial phase will test the extensions of the high-grade mineralized zone encountered last year and additionally test the gap area between Ryan's Surprise and Ulli's Ridge zones, with the goal of further expanding the large footprint of mineralization encountered to date," added D'Onofrio. "The diamond drill will then be moving to the Betty property to follow up on the 2021 high grade discovery and to conduct maiden diamond drilling at other targets in close proximity."

This year's drilling is part of White Gold's fully funded C$6 million exploration program and is supported by strategic partners Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd. and Kinross Gold Corp.

Assay results for all drill programs will be released as they become available and interpreted by White Gold, the company reports.

"Additional detail on other components of the 2022 exploration program will be released in the coming weeks," the White Gold CEO finished.
