White Gold Corp. Dec. 8 reported additional assays from the company's 2022 drilling program at the Betty property, with an intercept cutting the highest grades ever at 18.29 meters averaging 8.94 grams per metric ton gold and ultimately extending mineralization along strike at the Betty Ford target.

Following up on results announced last week, White Gold wasted no time in reporting its latest assays.

The 2022 drill program at Betty Ford focused on testing the depth and strike extents of the gold mineralized zone identified in last season's maiden diamond drilling program.

"We are very excited to have encountered additional near surface very high-grade gold over significant widths at the Betty Ford target," said White Gold CEO David D'Onofrio. "This hole was located over 100 meters from the exciting high grade hole last year (3.46 g/t over 50 meters) with the zone remaining open along strike."

BETFD22RC004, a reverse circulation hole drilled this year, cut 18.29 meters averaging 8.94 g/t gold from a depth of 35.05 meters, and included 6.1 meters averaging 21.73 g/t gold. This hole extended gold mineralization along strike to the west for a total of 165 meters and remains open.

"These results represent the highest grades encountered on the Betty Ford target to date and have further extended the strike length," said D'Onofrio. "We look forward to continuing to explore this exciting target in such close proximity to other very significant deposits."

Remaining results from the 2022 exploration program designed to advance new targets at Betty and other properties and to increase the significant gold resources on White Gold's namesake property in the Yukon will be announced as they are received and interpreted.
