Eskay Mining completed 29,500 meters of drilling this year at its namesake project in British Columbia's Golden Triangle.

Eskay Mining Corp. Dec. 15 reported that its 2022 drilling has expanded the TV-Jeff volcanogenic massive sulfide deposits on its namesake gold-silver project in Northern British Columbia.

Covering a corridor of VMS mineralization trending south from Skeena Resources Ltd.'s Eskay Creek gold-silver project, and lying between Seabridge Gold Corp.'s KSM project to the east and Garibaldi Resources Corp.'s Nickel Mountain project to the west, Eskay's property lies at the heart of some of the richest real estate in BC's Golden Triangle.

This year's 29,500-meter drill program both expanded the TV-Jeff mineralized zone at the heart of the project, made new discoveries north of the Jeff deposit and in proximity to the TV deposit, and identified evidence of a link between the TV-Jeff system on the east side of the Eskay Anticline with the Eskay Creek-SIB-Lulu system on the west.

"Our 2022 exploration program advanced our goal of finding new VMS discoveries," said Eskay Mining CEO Mac Balkam. "We firmly believe in the potential of the Consolidated Eskay project to deliver new discoveries similar to the high-grade Eskay Creek deposit."

The first batch of assay results from this drilling are from drilling at TV and Jeff; highlights include:

30.56 meters averaging 1.14 grams per metric ton gold and 30.6 g/t silver in hole TV22-97.

14.95 meters averaging 1.28 g/t gold and 87.9 g/t silver in hole TV22-109.

43.96 meters averaging 1.06 g/t gold and 2.24 g/t silver in hole J22-89

1.7 meters averaging 8.5 g/t gold and 11.9 g/t silver in hole J22-97.

7.85 meters averaging 1.03 g/t gold and 6.2 g/t silver in hole J22-98.

Eskay says VMS mineralization has been traced along the TV-Jeff corridor for over a strike length of 3,100 meters.

"Our 2022 program has shown that TV and Jeff are components of a larger trend of VMS mineralization extending at least 3.5 kilometers along strike along the eastern flank of the Eskay anticline," said Eskay Mining Vice President of Exploration John DeDecker. "VMS mineralization continues at least 1.3 km north of the Jeff deposit, some of which is polymetallic in character."

The company's 2022 program also included drilling along the Scarlet Ridge-Tarn Lake trend, which lies about five kilometers (three miles) northeast of the TV-Jeff system.
