With approximately 602,000 acres of gold exploration properties within the Selwyn Basin near Yukon's eastern border with Northwest Territories, Snowline is equipped with a land package that will keep this junior occupied for many years to come.

Snowline Gold Corp. May 2 outlined plans for a 15,000-meter drill program on its Rogue gold property in the Yukon, as well as the successful listing on the TSX Venture Exchange.

With an extensive portfolio that includes roughly 280,000 hectares (602,000 acres) of gold exploration properties within the Selwyn Basin near Yukon's eastern border with Northwest Territories and nearly 6,500 hectares (16,062 acres) of gold projects closer to Yukon's western border with Alaska, this junior has quickly exploded into the Yukon mining scene.

"What we have accomplished as a team in two short field seasons at Rogue is nothing short of remarkable," said Snowline Gold Vice President of Exploration Thomas Branson. "Through Snowline's brand of principled, values-driven exploration, we advanced a set of prospecting discoveries and a regional conceptual model to the drill discovery and partial delineation of a significant greenfields gold discovery."

After a successful stint of drilling in 2022, Snowline is ramping up to carry out at least 15,000 meters of drilling at its flagship property – Rogue.

Rogue is an 11,227-hectare (27,743 acres) property that comprises 442 mineral claims with a main block that covers a roughly nine-kilometer (5.6 miles) trend of metamorphic rock hornfels complemented by anomalous gold in rocks, soils, and stream sediment samples.

Within Rogue, the company has been paying particular attention to the Valley target, a recently discovered intrusive stock with sheeted gold-bearing quartz veins within the intrusion and visible gold found in sulfide veins in the surrounding hornfels.

Aiming for three drills to begin turning by the end of May or early June, roughly 10,000 meters will be allocated to the third phase of its program that has been advancing the geological understanding of Valley and to further delineate the at-surface, high-grade zone encountered last year.

Another 2,000 meters are targeted for the second phase of drilling at Gracie, an inferred blind intrusion some 4,500 meters east of Valley, which the company is looking forward to unlocking.

Unlike Valley, where the mineralized intrusion is exposed at surface, the causative intrusion at Gracie does not daylight (not exposed at surface). The company has stated before that this presents an attractive exploration target, as the highest gold grades in reduced-intrusion-related gold systems are commonly found near the top of a given intrusion – essentially signaling that the strongest part of the gold system at Gracie is likely to be intact.

As for the remaining 3,000 meters, Snowline says it has allocated that toward phase-one drill programs at various targets, which the company has deemed to have strong geological merit to host zones of mineralization.

Aside from the upcoming drill program, with the successful listing on the TSX-V, as part of listing requirements, Snowline will complete an updated NI 43-101 technical report for its Rogue project within the next 120 days.

"We will continue to add to our understanding of Rogue's Valley discovery and the broader Rogue project with the dual goals of expanding on our known discoveries at Rogue and making additional discoveries," added Branson. "As the 2023 field season approaches, we are gearing up for an active and exciting year with at least three drills turning and plenty of boots on the ground."
