Li-FT has already knocked out almost 40,000 meters of its planned 45,000-meter drill program.

Li-FT Power Ltd. Nov. 7 announced another batch of assays completed from the BIG East, Shorty, Ki, and Fi Southwest pegmatites found within the Yellowknife Pegmatite Province in Northwest Territories, signaling the consistency of this critical mineral found in this long-overlooked region.

With a massive 45,000-meter program targeted for the year, the company has reported results for 77 diamond drill holes totaling 13,570 meters, which is only about 39% of the 198 holes totaling 34,238 meters that have been drilled so far this year.

Keeping up the momentum, Li-FT has reported its assays nearly weekly since July, only growing the potential of this hardrock lithium source in Northern Canada.

Highlights from the latest round of results include:

17 meters averaging 0.79% lithium oxide from 12 meters in YLP-0072 (Ki).

19 meters averaging 1.16% lithium oxide from 51 meters in YLP-0073 (Shorty).

Four meters averaging 1.29% lithium oxide from 157 meters; and 10 meters averaging 1.33% lithium oxide from 157 meters in YLP-0075 (Fi-Southwest).

10 meters averaging 1.36% lithium oxide from 132 meters in YLP-0079; one meter averaging 1.42% lithium oxide from 146 meters; and four meters averaging 1.07% lithium oxide from 150 meters (Shorty).

Seven meters averaging 1.99% lithium oxide from a depth of 184 meters in hole YLP-0093; and 21 meters averaging 1.4% lithium oxide from 198 meters (BIG East).

All five holes for this batch were drilled broadly perpendicular to the dyke orientation so that the true thickness of reported intercepts will range somewhere between 65 to 100% of the drilled widths.

This follows five holes reported on Oct. 31 from the BIG East and Ki pegmatites. Highlights from this batch include:

10 meters averaging 1.28% lithium oxide from 49 meters and 10 meters averaging 1.28% lithium oxide from 66 meters in YLP-0066 (BIG East).

12 meters averaging 1.08% lithium oxide from 10 meters in YLP-0067 (Ki).

26 meters averaging 1.02% lithium oxide from 109 meters in YLP-0068 (BIG East).

10 meters averaging 0.96% lithium oxide from 13 meters in YLP-0069 (Ki).

18 meters averaging 1.75% lithium oxide from a depth of 45 meters in hole YLP-0109 (BIG East).

"We are pleased to see more very high-grade results coming from BIG East," said Li-FT CEO Francis MacDonald during the Oct. 31 announcement. "Last week we released holes YLP-0092 which intersected 18 metres at 1.79% Li2O which is located in the southwestern portion of the dyke system. This week's highlight of 18 metres at 1.75% Li2O in hole YLP-0109 is located in the northeastern portion of the dyke swarm, almost 500 metres away. This shows the potential to have multiple high-grade zones within the BIG East pegmatite system."
