Snowline reports more atypical intercepts

Includes one of the highest-graded sustained intervals to date North of 60 Mining News – January 19, 2024

Snowline Gold Corp. Jan 15 announced the results from three of its latest assays for the 2023 exploration program at Valley, which the company was eager to report as it added more several-hundred-meter intercepts, with one containing one of the highest-graded sustained intervals seen to date.

"Today's results highlight the strength and scale of mineralization near the open, eastern edge of the well-mineralized, near surface corridor at our Valley target," said Snowline Gold CEO Scott Berdahl.

On the heels of the first results reported this year, the latest batch comes from 2023 holes drilled near the open eastern boundary of Valley's known well-mineralized, near-surface gold corridor, which all returned broad intervals of robust mineralization.

Highlights from the three holes include:

383 meters averaging 2 g/t gold from surface in hole V-23-066, including 107.5 meters averaging 3.95 g/t gold from 110 meters, with its highest-graded sustained interval clocking in at 16 meters averaging 7.52 g/t gold.

418.4 meters averaging 1.62 g/t gold from surface in V-23-067, including 152 meters from 62 meters averaging 2.91 g/t gold with 29 meters averaging 5.58 g/t gold.

344.5 meters averaging 1.14 g/t gold from surface in V-23-065, including 177.5 meters from 58 meters averaging 1.6 g/t gold.

"V-23-066 is drilled through a gap in the east-central part of the target, carrying an average grade of almost 4 g/t gold over a 107.5-meter downhole interval, within a broad interval of consistent, multi-gram gold starting from surface," said Berdahl. "Such grades are highly atypical of a reduced-intrusion related gold system."

Hole V-23-066 was collared in coarse-grained granodiorite within the Valley intrusion roughly 48 meters northwest of V-22-007, which cut 410 meters averaging 1.89 g/t gold from surface, and southeast of V-23-037, which was announced in August last year and cut 383.8 meters averaging 2.47 g/t gold.

Hole V-23-067 was drilled 54 meters northwest of 065 and 39 meters from 22-007. This hole was also collared in coarse-grained granodiorite. Snowline also reported that 067 was entirely mineralized.

Finally, hole V-23-065 was collared 69 meters to the southwest of V-22-027, which cut 481.5 meters averaging 0.69 g/t gold, and 83 meters to the northeast of V-23-036, which returned 414.5 meters 1.53 g/t gold. The company adds that these three holes form a fence across the southeastern portion of the well-mineralized, near-surface corridor within the Valley intrusion. It was also drilled in coarse-grained granodiorite.

"Additional strong grades in holes V-23-065 and 067 bolster the known scale of the eastern part of the system, where we are still chasing open boundaries of mineralization at Valley," added Berdahl. "As we await further drill results and metallurgical studies, this demonstration of robust mineralization in the eastern part of the target highlights a key direction for potential expansion of the Valley system that we will be testing in our upcoming 2024 exploration campaign."

Assays are pending for 2,640 meters of drilling in eight holes.
