Li-FT Power Ltd. Jan. 23 announced the next set of assays from drilling at the company's Yellowknife Lithium project in Northwest Territories, Canada, which includes another batch from the Nite deposit, along with Fi Main, BIG West, and Ki targets.

Last week, the company released results that came from the Fi Main, BIG West, and Nite complexes, however, intercepts from Fi Main shifted the direction of what Li-FT will most likely be targeting in its upcoming season.

"The impressive near-surface high grade intercepts at Fi-Main confirm for the first time that grades and widths are improving to the north on the Fi-Main structure," said Li-FT Power Senior Vice President of Geology David Smithson. "We are very excited to get the drills back to this structure in the upcoming 2024 winter drill program to confirm how far, and to what depths these grades extend."

Additionally, the first holes returned from Nite further exemplify the quality of this historic lithium region.

"The first holes into the southwest end of Nite have been equally impressive and are also very important as they show us that the grades and widths are also improving on the Nite structure as we move to the south," added Smithson. "Last summer we identified numerous dykes trending outward in this direction and so we are very excited to test these new zones for more grade and even better widths in 2024."

Highlights from the Jan. 16 announcement include:

• Five meters averaging 1.14% lithium oxide from a depth of 64 meters in hole YLP-0140 (BIG West).

• 27 meters averaging 1.26% lithium oxide from 52 meters in YLP-0141 (Fi Main).

• 10 meters averaging 1.47% lithium oxide from 81 meters in YLP-0142 (Nite).

• 22 meters averaging 1.53% lithium oxide from 64 meters in YLP-0147 (Fi Main).

This week, drill results come from eight holes on four separate pegmatite complexes, one from Fi Main, three from Nite, two from BIG West, and two from Ki.

Li-FT reports that significant intervals of spodumene mineralization were contacted.

Highlights from these holes include:

• 10 meters averaging 1.28% lithium oxide from surface in hole YLP-0145.

• 23 meters averaging 1.4% lithium oxide from a depth of 72 meters in YLP-0148.

• Five meters averaging 1.04% lithium oxide from 65 meters in YLP-0149.

• 11 meters averaging 1.38% lithium oxide from 302 meters in YLP-0182.

With 156 holes now reported out of its 198 drilled in 2023, Li-FT has received nearly 80% of the analytical results from its 34,238-meter drill program.
