Sound Quarry Inc. (SQI), a Bering Straits Native Corporation subsidiary, provides quality rock and aggregate products across Western Alaska. SQI independently operates the Cape Nome Quarry located 12 miles east of Nome, Alaska. The Cape Nome Quarry is a source of industrial grade armor stone and riprap commonly used on seawalls, causeways and breakwaters.
