Born in 1860, Jefferson "Soapy" Smith would lead a life of incredible crime, while mostly petty in nature, it was by no means harmless, and in 1898, Smith would meet his end to angry vigilantes over the possibility of his exploits ruining the reputation of Skagway, AK.
