Chena Hot Springs in Alaska has a history of over 100 years.Main street of downtown Chena had railways passing straight through it.Once located on the shores of the Tanana River, Chena became a ghost town.The lost mining town of Chena has been put back on modern maps.

After years of painstaking efforts by local Alaskan anthropologists, the original location of Chena was recovered and added to modern maps, GPS, and GIS systems.
